Description
The light-artwork placed on the facade of the Neils Bohr Institute is connected directly to the word's largest physics experiment that is taking place at CERN outside Geneva on the border between Switzerland and France.
What you see on the facade of the Institute is the latest data from the particle collisions as they happen within the LHC accelerator. The signal is reproduced with a broad spectrum of notes and varied intensities, as if the accelerator was some kind of gigantic musical instrument. Maybe one can see the work as a visual translation of the music that sounded at the birth of the Universe.
