真的是很优秀的大哥，当年还为Tommy做了开场，之后又一起演奏，相信是美好且难忘的一晚。

This was my gig! It was March 2007, when Tommy held his first show in Ljubljana, the capitol of Slovenia. I used to live there, so naturally, I knew all the people and going ons around the music scene. I begged the promotor to let me open for Tommy. It just so happened that they couldn't answer my request for reasons I didn't know of at the time. Ultimately, I didn't know if I was going to play at the show or not until the day of the show.

I got up early that day to take a 2 hour drive to Ljubljana. I was driving in a very clean Nissan and once I arrived I received a phone call from the promotor, asking me if anyone smoked in the car. No one did. "You're picking up Tommy from the airport if your car is clean!" the voice on the phone said. It was. I went to the airport and picked up Tommy. On our way I nervously asked him if he would mind if I opened for him that night and he said "No, brother! Play your hearty out!" We spent the rest of the day together chatting and having a good time. Tommy is the nicest person you'll ever meet and it is truly my privilege to call him my friend. To this day we stayed in touch and I've met him and played with him a bunch of times.

That night I played a short set of my arrangements and Tommy invited me to play a song with him in the midst of his set. My dreams came true, I played with Tommy Emmanuel, c.g.p.
