After one of the longest travel days of our lives, we finally arrived in Yangshuo, Guilin, and it completely blew us away. From riding electric scooters through the famous Ten Mile Gallery, to bamboo rafting down the stunning Yulong River, exploring Moon Hill, and discovering hidden countryside roads surrounded by incredible karst mountains, this became one of our favourite places in all of China.
We stayed in an unbelievable mountain-view hotel for just £20 a night, experienced local family-run restaurants, explored ancient villages, watched futuristic farming drones in action, and discovered why Yangshuo deserves to be on every travel bucket list.
