Lyrics:
bring it up, bring it up as you do
takin your time to wake up
work out a time to make up

is nothing dragging on you
you were in school for real
didn't you know the deal

don't you lose your head
lyin in your bed
thinkin pony is dead

don't you lose your smile
let the code compile
make it worth your while

giddy up racehorse number five
wing by those sunset skies for ever
you better do something clever
'bout dreamin' on

oh, old faded blue you've got to get it together
cause you can see yourself and you're so badly drawn

don't be in your head
bake a cake instead
be a quadruped

break into your song
do the whole thing wrong
be a place to belong

some trace still lingers in the air
and speaking softly you can hear
the wonder in your lonely voice
you are presented with a choice

a dash of colour in your eye
flash of magenta in the sky
tells you as words fall off your pen
your time will come along again

reality is coming all undone
but maybe you can save someone
if you learn how to have some fun
in your own world and raise the sun

so pegasus, keep singing that old song
a splash of colour and it's gone
but not for you and not for long

don't you lose your head
lyin in your bed
thinkin pony is dead

break into your song
do the whole thing wrong
be a place to belong

you know it's gone
but not for long

so long
as you remember the magic
there’s something that never ends
there’s life
it doesn’t have to be perfect
as long as you have your friends
and take good care of you
as you go on your adventures
and don’t be afraid to smile
your time will come along again
come along again
