On July 18, at around 10:35am JST (GMT+9), an arson attack occurred in a Kyoto Animation building, leading to several injuries and dozens of lives lost. Kyoto Animation, well known for its consistent top quality productions, including Clannad, Koe no Katachi, Chuunibyou, and Hyouka, to name a few, has suffered "immeasurable losses," and in order to help, Sentai Filmworks has opened up a GoFundMe page to support those victims affected by the act. If you would like to support and donate to the cause, please go here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-kyoan...
This has deeply upset not just me, but a lot of anime fans out there. And I wish Kyoto Animation, and everyone else, the best of luck in recovering from the disaster. And for me, as a musician on the other side of the world, the only way I can contribute is to give money (which I have), and to make art.
And so here it is. A medley, highlighting 11 songs from the productions of Kyoto Animation.
Note: the audio may be slightly quieter than usual, that was a small editing mistake I made.
