电影配乐《Martini》广告系列 --- 音乐学院学生不练琴都做些啥（3）

这个Martini的广告算是我第一个上手的项目
萨克斯和手风琴演绎出了一种sexy的感觉

The start of this short story is a scene on a dome, which quickly transfers to 3 semi-human sculpture, then an empty street. Before I finished reviewing the entire clip, this part is not very clearly narrated but implies a repressed and solitary, even religious to some extent, atmosphere. Therefore, the use of a string quartet, to further imply the solitary feeling.
Then, a beautiful lady walks into the scene. As the lady walks by, groups of gentlemen are attracted to her, as she was the only lady. The scene is set on the street of Italy, therefore a tango rhythm and the use of castanet. In the instrumentation, the accordion and saxophone melody juxtapose each other.
As the lady brings out a bottle of Martini, the scene gets even more mysterious. At first, I was thinking of utilizing the violin as a melodic instrument, but as I tested it out, the result was not impressive, perhaps limited by my sample library. It is also at this time when I found a Violin Pizzicato patch. The use of pizzicato mimics the bubble from bear. The timbre has been treated with heavy reverb to better fit the sound design of the “bubbling” sound. Adding to the mysterious tone.
Another lady appears, but in a different dress, one in black and one in white conflicting each other. Four quickly alternating scenes were assisted by the utilization of organ chord and tubular bells. The main melody comes back at the next scene, finishing the story.
