LYRICS by Feather

I won’t give up hope
I have travelled long ago
Where your ancestors roamed
I won’t give up hope
I shall reap what I did sow
Walk into the unknown

The river gives and it will take
Even gods make their mistakes
And I’m no goddess, you can see
Our sacrifice? A futile fee

But hearts can learn and I will grow
The new bring fortunes to bestow
The lotus blooms a fragrant scent
We will repair and make amends

I won’t give up hope
I have travelled long ago
Where your ancestors roamed
I won’t give up hope
I shall reap what I did sow
Walk into the unknown

They speak of another way
In this world of another day
A way of compassion and care
A way that was always there

Sands swallow up your pride
When you finally decide
To yourself you were untrue
Shadows flee from you

I won’t give up hope
I have travelled long ago
Where your ancestors roamed
I won’t give up hope
I shall reap what I did sow
Walk into the unknown

I will not abandon my friend
His destruction will not be the end
They’ve shown me another path
I redeem my hope at last

I won’t give up hope
I have travelled long ago
Where your ancestors roamed
I won’t give up hope
I see the lesson they’ve shown
Walk into a new dawn

I won’t give up hope
I have travelled long ago
Where your ancestors roamed
I won’t give up hope
I see the lesson they’ve shown
Walk into a new dawn
