Class 345 traction inverters - part of the Aventra platform for the UK using the Mitrac TCMS.

Recorded on the Great Western Mainline (GWML) and directly above the Mitrac's power stage output. Resultantly, motor and gearbox noise is very quite because the TCU is situated in the very middle of the motor car while the driven bogie is at the end. It isn't feasible to be spread unattended equipment over 10m with the Greater London general public onboard. Instead, see the combined audio from 01:00:28 for a better sense of train sound. At 00:21:40, you can also clearly how the inductor captures station announcements from the powerful solenoid of an iron speaker.

We can see: 550Hz RCFM with voltage vector control (e.g. SVM reference) and sync modes of odd counts ranging from 9P to 1P depending on modulation index. These may be types of optimised pulse patterns (OPPs) such as CHM, or other trapezoidal sync modes.
