The 2009 Tube Stock makes today's Victoria Line sound using a Mitrac 1000 series traction inverter with voltage vector control to drive a Bombardier DR1000 SCIM. That makes it like the Electrostars. But the line voltage available on the London Underground is only 630VDC - meaning the percentage phase voltage required of that available is different than for Electrostars. Therefore, the pulse pattern for the 2009TS is similar but different due to the modulation index.
