Paul Hindemith's Klaviermusik mit Orchester, Op. 29 was commissioned by Paul Wittgenstein, who never played by the score and prevented others from doing so. It was discovered in the composer's widow's papers after her death in 2002, and premiered by Leon Fleisher in 2004.
