紫罗兰永恒花园 MAD - Silhouette

I attended KokoroKon (a local convention here in Vienna) with ‪Guodan, Kudzu and Alyzia. The plan was for Guodan, Kudzu and me to edit videos for it and watch each other's videos at the Con for the very first time. I couldn't find a source to edit, and since I have been watching a lot of shows and anime in German dub, I thought I could try watching Violet Evergarden. It was actually nice, and I ended up watching the entire first series, so I thought it'd be a good idea to edit it.

Althought the theme of the contest was "Shipping" (so kind of romance), my video doesn't really fit the category. If you've seen Arcane, the song will be familiar to you. It plays during a "flashback" scene that's about the death of a paternal figure. And to me, as someone who's only scene the first season of Violet, the Major was more like a father to Violet than a romantic interest, especially considering the age difference.

The concept of the video is quite simple, but I thought it'd be fun to edit. Which it was!
