Here is a funny picture about the recent prevail phenomenon that Chinese anime fandom using “老师” which means teacher and “老大” which means gang leader( sometimes translated to be boss or chief) to call the creators they like online. Well, as these words all can show their respect to someone regardless gender or age or even species( you know we cannot and don't need to know who is sitting on the other side of the screen ).
