etto desu ne - Tamate Momochi is a main character in the series Slow Start. A bubbly, cheerful girl from Hana's class who likes to be friends with everyone she meets. She enjoys cooking. She dislikes being called "Tamate", claiming her parents split "tamatebako" incorrectly, and asks to be called "Tama-chan" instead.

She blushed and got nervous when Eiko patted her head.
When Kamuri forgot to wear her school skirt one morning (episode 5/chapter 16), she playfully winked voicing her delight over seeing her bare legs every day from that time, commenting it a sight for sore eyes.
In chapter 34, after Eiko says she's not wearing a camisole, which would make her shirt see-through, Tamate puts her head inside Eiko's vest, hoping to see her underwear.
In chapter 37, she and Eiko are both entranced by Kamuri's small shoes, which makes Kamuri nervous.
She has constant dreams of Eiko and Kiyose Enami flirting with each other, while Tamate herself is in the background, such as in the beginning of chapter 62. In chapter 68, she dreams the three of them are in a sleepover in Enami's house, and gets anxious sleeping in the middle.
In chapter 66, when hanging out without Eiko and Kamuri, both Tamate and Hana tell Hiroe Hannen they got the other just for themselves.
Upon seeing Eiko giving lap pillows to both Kamuri and Kiyose in chapter 98, Tamate states she wants to be the one giving lap pillows, which evolves into most student council girls plus Kiyose lying on a couch around her.
She generally gets jealous when other girls get cozy with Hana.
In chapter 113, she's shown to be jealous of Hana and Kasane's closeness, which she tells Hana in the next chapter while apologizing. She says she assumed Hana would get along better with someone her own age.
In chapter 114, after she apologizes to Hana, they end up sleeping together.
In chapter 117, she gets jealous upon seeing Hana and Tsukuru getting along.
