Abstract摘要
Modern physics is shaped by three fundamental frameworks: quantum theory, general relativity, and information theory. In this talk, I will give a brief introduction to relativistic quantum information, an operational framework for exploring their interplay, with a focus on how quantum information resources can be extracted in relativistic settings. I will discuss particle-detector models, in particular the Unruh–DeWitt model, as tools for operationally defining particles and probing quantum fields through localized interactions. The main focus will be magic harvesting, a protocol in which nonstabilizer resources—key ingredients for quantum computational advantage—are extracted from the vacuum state of a quantum field. I will then present our recent results showing that harvested magic, quantified by the mana, can act as an operational probe of spacetime geometry and conformal field theories.

Biography

杨佳悦目前是加拿大滑铁卢大学量子计算研究所(Institute for Quantum Computing, IQC)和圆周理论物理研究所(Perimeter Institute, PI)的博士生。本科毕业于吉林大学唐敖庆班物理专业;硕士毕业于滑铁卢大学物理与天文系。她的研究方向主要集中在高能理论与引力物理,尤其关注黑洞热力学、量子信息与全息理论之间的交叉问题,并已在 JHEP、PRD、PRR 等期刊发表多篇论文。除科研外,她也长期投入教学与科学传播,在哔哩哔哩平台积累了超过 13,000 名粉丝,并多次参与 IQC 与 PI 组织的公众科普活动。
