雄心火焰是湮灭之门章节的第一个DLC，讲述了莱兰斯和艾维莉嗅探到了关于“雄心”的线索，开始揭开统治帝国的瑞驰长屋王朝之谜。
此DLC由两个副本组成：The Cauldron（大坩埚）讲述了醒焰教团正举行奇特的仪式，玩家可以在副本中见到一种十分强大的新型迪德拉（见封面）
Black Drake Villa（黑色巨龙别墅）则藏有一些关于杜科拉奇的故事以及部分计划细节，玩家可以在里面见到一种完全不同的武术流派
两个副本都采用了全新的特效演出，最终战场面宏大。而它的剧情模式又可以揭示一些5代剧情实质。之后将进入黑森林寻找大衮与长屋王朝的契约内容和一个隐藏多年的计划。
