数字技术正日益成为人际关系的媒介，催生出多元互动的接触空间，在其中发生着多样的互动。这些空间孕育着复杂的动态：有的加剧权力失衡，而另一些则意外地开启了关怀与关注的可能性。这些动态可被视为社会议题——作为汇聚行动者、价值观与物质条件的摩擦点。

在这些空间中，人们逐渐认识到，数据并非一种预先存在、客观中立的现实描述，而是一种人为产物，是体现创作者选择与偏见的产物。此外，数据也在积极影响并重塑其诞生的文化环境。

本次讲座展示意大利米兰理工大学 DensityDesign 实验室的多个项目成果——涵盖公共展览、交互网站、海报及工具等多种形式。通过应用研究与教学实践，这些项目展示了如何将数据产物转化为视觉形式，既揭示其生产语境，又传达其社会影响。

Digital technologies increasingly mediate our relationships, creating new contact zones where diverse interactions happen. These spaces generate complex dynamics: some exacerbate power imbalances and accelerate extractive practices, while others open up unexpected possibilities for care and attention. Such dynamics can be understood as social issues, as points of friction that bring together actors, values, and material conditions.

Within these spaces, it has become clear that data is not a preanalytical, objective description of reality but a human artefact, the product of processes that embody the choices and biases of their creators. Moreover, data actively influences and reshapes the culture that produced it.

In the talk, works by DensityDesign Lab across multiple formats will be showcased — including public exhibitions, interactive websites, posters, and tools. Through applied research and teaching, these projects demonstrate how to transform data artefacts into visual forms that reveal their production contexts and communicate their societal impact.
